What a great time we had honoring our first inductees into the Tallywhacker Hall of Fame. The
honorees were: Roger Francis, Randy Russell, Bob Pacquer, Steve Morrison, and Rickard Olsen.
Richard came all the way from Atlanta to be with us. We had a coat and tie dinner with three other
distinguished guests: Gene Dell (two time Grand Tallywhacker), Bill Kelley and Richard “RT” Taylor.
It was wonderful to see them all at Tallywhacker again.
And now for the events! Gary Alexander earned the Grand Tallywhacker Award with 15 points. Coming
in second was Mike Pinch with 13 points. There was a tie for third between Brad Moore and Don
Lloyd with 12 points.
The Grand Putter Whacker went to Brad Moore with 16 putts. Second went to Andy Worthen. Third
to Jim Rozmaryn. Fourth Mike Temple. Firth Mark Pinch. And sixth to Dennis Johnson. Places 2
through 6 all had 17 putts and the order was determined by score card elimination.
The Saturday Scramble was won by Don Lloyd, Jeff Taylor, Jim Rozmaryn, and Mac McKern with
a score of 68. Second Place, also with a score of 68, was Brad Moore, Dennis Johnson, Gary
Alexander, and Mike Schuler. Third went to Mike Temple, John Lindseth, Mike Pitcher, and Jacob
Everet. Fourth, Joe Alongi, Terry Campbell, Lloyd Betts, and Jim Howard. Fifth, Mark Pinch, Mike
Pinch, Lane Premo, and Mike Schuler. And Sixth Place went to Bruce Colwell, Roger Francis, Hal
Cline, and Jamie Straight. Third through sixth place all had 69.
The Horse Race was won by Hal Cline and Mike Pinch, edging out Second Place Gary Alexander
and Terry Campbell. Third was Roger Francis and Lane Premo.
Randy Russell had the Long Drive and James Tay had the Straight Drive.
Saturday KP’s: #2 Lloyd Betts 5 ft. 6-1/2-in. #5 Jacob Everet 4 ft. 2 -3/4-in. #15 Brad Moore 43-in.
#17 Tai Merzel 6-in.
Sunday Scramble was won by Don Lloyd (again!), John Thorson, Jamie Straight, and Tai Merzel
with a score of 64. AMAZING!
Second Place, Joe Alongi, Mike Pinch, Gary Alexander, and Philip Ozorio. Third Place James Tay,
Randy Russell, Lloyd Betts, Mac McKern. Fourth, Mark Pinch, Terry Campbell, Jacob Everet, Mike
Schuler. (Second, Third and Fourth Place all scored was 69) Fifth Place, Bob
Pacquer, Roger Francis, Mike Pincher, and Andy Worthen with 70. Sixth Place, the
three-some of Mike Temple, Dennis Johnson, and Hal Cline with a 71. Long Dive,
Mike Valenari. Straight Drive, Jeff Taylor. Sunday KP’s: #2 Joe Alongi 40 ft. 3-in.
#5 Dennis Bonnono 3 ft. 9-in. #15 Mark Pinch 14 ft. 6 1.2-in. #17 Bruce Colwell
7ft. 1-in.
