A new high with 52 players. As of 2005, this is still the record for a Tally Whacker. We had six players travel at least 200 miles to play in the tournament. This was the first year of the "theme" which was "Bring Your Nickname." Fines were imposed for those who called players by their real name instead of their nickname during Saturday's round. This backfired since all of the regulars paid all the fines and all the rookies used the nicknames since they did not know their real names in the first place.

Hockey is a sport for white men. Basketball is a sport for black men. Golf is a sport for white men dressed like black pimps.
