The theme for this year, naturally, was "Tally Whacker goes Country." My thought was that everyone would come as a cowboy of some sort but leave it to the imagination of the Tally Whackers to define the theme. Specifically I remember Mac McKern coming as a hayseed hick in his overalls, straw hat and hay in his mouth. John Thorson and Joe Alongi if I recall both came as gun slingers with long trench coats and I remember a rifle and bullets. Again, many photos were taken but they have yet to materialize.

After a dismal showing of 27 players in 2003, we jumped to 40 in 2004 of which 39 showed up for the tournament. After no rookies last year, we had 11 new players this year.

Bob Pacquer won the Grand Tally Whacker trophy for the 7th time! Roger Francis came in 2nd, his best finish ever. Roger Francis successfully defended his title and was able to take home the Grand Putter Whacker trophy for the 2nd year in a row.

Champions in the Horserace this year were John Thorson and Bruce Colwell.

Scramble winners on Saturday: Bob Pacquer, Brock Baker, Bill Kelley, Phil Peters
Scramble winners on Sunday: Bob Pacquer, Shawn Mastel, Mike Hayes, Neil Macdonald
