Gene Dell walked off with the sought-after Grand Tally Whacker trophy for the second time, having won in 1991.
Neil Macdonald became the Grand Putter Whacker for the first time.
The theme for this year was "Mismatched clothing." The players came in some of the ugliest outfits imaginable. One course member, not having any idea what we were up to, commented to me in the pro shop, "My, that certainly is a colorful group!" Most popular colors appeared to be bright orange, purple and chartreuse. And NO ONE had a coordinated outfit. Great fun and great laughs.
