The theme for this year was "A Formal Affair". The requirements for each golfer was to show up Saturday morning wearing only black and white, with a tie and a brimmed hat. Steve Morrison was exceptionally creative, showing up in a penguin costume, complete with time and brimmed hat! First place for creativity was a tie between Steve and Don Lloyd who is on the far left end of the group photo with his black shirt, white tux jacket and top hat. As the photo will show, there were some great outfits this year.

For the first time, there was a 3-way tie for first place between Bob Pacquer, Mike Schuler and Mike Pinch. The winner was decided by one long putt on Sunday and Mike Pinch walked home with the trophy. The Grand Putter Whacker trophy was taken home by John Thorson.

Champions in the Horserace this year were Myrle Carner and Lane Premo.
